I am a Licensed Practical Nurse with over 12 years experience working in Geriatric medicine. I have worked in a variety of different healthcare settings, including Long-term care facilities, Assisted living and Acute care. I completed my Advanced Foot Care certification with PEDEd. I am also an active member of the Lower Mainland Footcare Nurses Association. Furthermore, I have completed my Gentle Persuasive certification which assists in providing care to patients with cognitive impairments.
I believe in using a patient-centered approach when treating a client. I take the time to listen to my patients' concerns and goals as well as their ability to comply with the treatment plan provided. I will complete a thorough health history during the initial appointment, in order to provide complete medical care.
Foot care nursing is a service provided by a nurse that has graduated from a recognized nursing college and holds a current active practicing license with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives. The nurse has taken further education from a recognized footcare course and received a certificate of completion. Foot care nurses provide non-invasive foot care services. The foot care nurse follows infection control protocols with his/her tools to ensure that nursing regulations and standards are met.

I accept either cash, cheque, or interac E-Transfer as payment. A receipt will be provided for income tax purposes and / or extended health plans that may cover your service. Check with your plan provider for approval requirements. Foot care services are also covered under the Veterans affairs act.
